We are a statewide group organizing ourselves to get an initiative on the 2012 CA ballot that would require mandatory labeling of GMO foods and the animals that eat them. We are on state mandated timlines to get this to ballot. We have to organize ourselves NOW to gather the signatures this fall (2011) to qualify for the November 2012 ballot.
