Like bees and want to help them to thrive? I teach two classes each month on different topics. So far we have 8 different bee care topics, all relevant to people who are interested in bees. I started the group because it was difficult for me to find out how to -->respectfully<-- raise bees and to do that without chemicals or treatments. I'm most interested in helping people learn to be good bee stewards whether they have backyard hives or just enjoy and appreciate the busy little pollinators. W …

("I want this to be some type of co-op were we all work together and share in the reward") lets get together once …

Tigard's current chicken keeping laws require 100' between a chicken coop and the closest neighboring residence. Most homes do not have this large of a lot. City Council is ready to amend these laws, and make them friendlier to backyard coops - they're just waiting to hear our collective chicken-loving voices! Help me organize and address city council to allow existing coops to remain, and bring more backyard chickens into our community.
